Thank you for visiting the Coalition for Returnable Plastic Container Theft Prevention page. Plastics theft effects multiple industries in almost every community – with unauthorized individuals stealing trays from depots, warehouse bays, retail outlets, and restaurants. These trays are either reground and sold (often overseas) for illicit profit or used by other companies looking to avoid paying for equipment. Many companies are forced to pay millions in annual replacement costs.
Materials on rpc-theft.org are free for distribution and use across all plastics reusing industries. Additionally, we encourage bakers to utilize the reporting feature so that the coalition may follow up with local law enforcement and prosecutors.
